Transparent technology.
Informed choices.

How DSE Browser uses artificial intelligence, how the service works, and what to know about the data and content you encounter.

A technical connection

The gateway opens domain records. It does not generate AI answers.

Clear information

Understand which services are involved and what data they receive.

Your choice

Check sources and external websites before relying on their content.

AI assistance, openly disclosed

AI has helped create and revise this website’s code, text and translations. AI-assisted material can contain errors, omissions or outdated information. This notice describes the service as implemented on the date above; it does not certify the accuracy of external websites.

How the gateway works

DSE Browser reads a Web3 domain’s published records and opens the linked website. Freename records may point to IPFS content or an HTTPS address; ENS access uses eth.limo. This is a technical resolution and access process, not a generative AI conversation. The domain you enter is not sent to a generative model by this gateway.

What data passes through the service

The domain and requested path are processed to find and deliver the website. Domain records and technical mappings may be cached to speed up access. Cloudflare, resolvers and gateways can process technical request data, including an IP address. The application does not maintain a personal browsing-history database or use analytics cookies. This does not prevent your browser or a destination website from keeping its own history, cookies or logs.

External content, IPFS and availability

The content belongs to the website publisher, not to DSE Browser. Files may be stored on IPFS or conventional hosting; a blockchain domain alone does not guarantee that its website is available or permanent. A gateway can fail, a record can change, or the owner can stop hosting files. ENS, Freename, IPFS gateways and destination sites have their own terms and privacy information.

Content filters and safe browsing

Some domains or content can be blocked by the service’s technical checks or management rules. These checks do not certify the identity of the publisher or the safety, legality or accuracy of the website. No automatic filter guarantees that harmful content is absent. Report a problem with its exact domain and URL; avoid sending confidential data. A restriction here does not erase content from IPFS, the blockchain or another host.

Protect your information

Do not submit passwords, recovery phrases, private keys, identity documents, payment-card details or sensitive personal information. Use public search terms and only images you are entitled to share. Reading public content does not require a wallet. A wallet request on a destination website belongs to that website: check the address and the transaction before approving anything.

Automation and your choices

These tools help you find or open public content. They are not designed to make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects. GDPR Article 22 concerns those effects; it does not prohibit every automated search or technical filter. You choose which result to open and whether to use any optional feature.

Privacy rights and transparency

Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, object to processing and complain to the competent supervisory authority, subject to the applicable conditions. Contact the site management using the address below. This technical notice does not replace the factual information required for each personal-data processing activity, including its legal basis, recipients and retention. AI Act obligations depend on the system and the organisation’s role; an AI notice alone does not establish compliance.

Limits and responsibility

A result, a resolved domain or an AI answer is not a guarantee of ownership, accuracy, legality, security or investment value. External content and availability can change. Verify sources before relying on them; seek a suitably qualified professional for legal, financial, tax or other specialist decisions. The use of AI does not remove the site operator’s responsibilities or your mandatory rights.
